The Main Lodge offers conference rooms with full-service catering, an excellent restaurant featuring local wines, and the Fireside Lounge with nightly live entertainment, all surrounded by world-class gardens and gardening events. The certified organic kitchen garden provides homegrown organic produce to the restaurant at Cambria Pines Lodge, while other areas of the theme gardens offer spectacular landscaping and perfect areas for special events or a peaceful retreat.

Hearst Castle:

Hearst Castle rises above the clouds on many days of the year and appears to be floating on the mist. Positioned high on a hill some 1600 feet above sea level, Hearst Castle looks out over the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding countryside.

Elephant Seals:

If you have never seen a 5,000-pound animal bathing on the beach, now is your chance. There are only a few places in the world where elephant seals live and even fewer places where elephant seals are accessible to the public.

Nitt Witt Ridge:

Nitt Witt Ridge, one of California's remarkable twentieth-century folk-art environments, is the creation of Arthur Harold Beal (Der Tinkerpaw, or Capt. Nitt Witt), a Cambria Pines pioneer who sculpted the land using hand tools and indigenous materials, remarkable inventiveness and self-taught skills. A blend of native materials and contemporary elements, impressive in its sheer mass and meticulous placement, it is a revealing memorial to Art's unique cosmic humor and zest for life.

Rooms:

You'll have lots of choices when it comes to comfortable accommodations at Cambria Pines Lodge. From rustic cabins to large suites featuring two fireplaces, there is bound to be something to suit your tastes.

You could experience a luxurious Large Suite featuring a king bed and romantic fireplace in the bedroom; a queen Murphy bed, pull-out sofa, and fireplace in the living/dining area; a wet bar area complete with mini-refrigerator and microwave oven; and deck or patio. Large Suites comfortably sleep up to six, and are ideal for a romantic retreat for two, a fun family getaway, or a business trip. Small Suites comfortably sleep four and feature two queen beds; a small sitting room with sofa bed, mini-refrigerator, and microwave; and a view of the forest.

You may prefer one of our Fireplace or Standard Rooms. Decorated with country flair, these rooms feature one king or two queen beds. Many offer fireplaces; some even have patios. You will enjoy the comfort of modern conveniences in a country setting.

If rustic is more your style, you will appreciate the quaint Garden or Fireside Cabins. Built in the 1940s, the Garden Cabins are reminiscent of a time when Cambria Pines Lodge was renowned as a hunting and camping lodge. Although the hunting and camping are just a memory in a faded brochure, the cabins remain. Featuring one king or two queen beds, these are the perfect choice for a touch of nostalgia. The Fireside Cabins, built in the 1960s and located by the pool, have pine paneling and one king bed.
