An Oasis of Romance, the Rancho Capistrano is a beautiful oasis featuring a shimmering lake surrounded by towering palms, weeping willows, and shady eucalyptus trees, and has everything you need including overnight accommodations for your guests!

The natural beauty of this lush property and exquisite details of the mission-style architecture provide the perfect scenery for photographs and videography. And everything you need for your wedding and rehearsal dinner, even a breakfast the next day, is on one property!

All religious denominations are welcomed. Our staff is committed to making sure your wedding is as special as you have always dreamed, so they include a Wedding Coordinator assigned only to you for the rehearsal and wedding day to assist you with the planning process.

The Ranch offers a variety of romantic outdoor settings, each with a spectacular view. Your ceremony can be set up in the Spanish courtyard in front of the Hacienda, an historic adobe ranch house built in the 1800's, or on the grassy hillside overlooking the lake. On the Casitas patio, your guests will enjoy a view of the lake from a quiet, shady environment of intricate brickwork and an abundance of greenery. On the poolside patio, imagine a decorative archway along side a fragrant rose garden. The Plaza, a stunning circular features a mission-style fountain as its focal point, and cobblestone bricks surrounded by majestic trees and flowering plants. And getting there is half the fun! Your guests will walk along the lake and up a grand staircase to the Plaza reception.

Our Church Sanctuary offers an exquisite indoor church setting for your ceremony. A cascading waterfall, visible from inside, flows through the garden outside, and the stained glass windows serve as a backdrop for photographs. And, you can go right from the ceremony to reception if you wish, as the building has room for receptions of up to 250 guests.

The lakeside chapel or island gazebo might be preferred for more private weddings.

Receptions:
The Ranch's award-winning chef and his staff will provide top-quality service, with a full range of menus for you and your guests. The old California feeling of the Hacienda is accentuated by its terra cotta tiled terrace and mission-style fountains. Inside, vibrant stenciling, Spanish-tiled fireplaces, arched windows and doorways, and glass greenhouse doors open onto the patio. Enjoy it with a social hour, displaying the cake, or small receptions. The picturesque Lakeside facility offers a spacious library and dining room with glass sliding-door walls opening up to a beautiful view of serene lakeside gardens and island gazebo.

Rehearsal Dinners:
Your dinner celebration can be waiting for you in the Hacienda or Lakeside Dinning Room, or the lakeside gardens or poolside patio during warmer months.
