Whether you choose to say “I Do” in our newly built Chapel or gather under a canopy of live oaks with Texas wildflowers as your backdrop, your wedding will be a storybook memory. Our outstanding staff will assure that every detail is anticipated so that all you need to do is relish the moment. Rough Creek Lodge provides an on-site Certified Wedding Consultant to assist with the wedding plans, making sure that your wedding experience is relaxing, exciting, and festive.

We can accommodate small, intimate affairs up to large, ceremonious weddings and receptions. Perhaps cocktails by the warmth of our expansive Texas stone fireplace or champagne toasts on our outdoor terraces overlooking the lake. Our Executive Chef will design a personalized menu of his signature dishes for your reception, whether you choose Hors d’Oeuvres or a three-course gourmet dinner. And of course, the finale to your reception ~ your wedding cake ~ will be specially created by our Pastry Chef, complete with the keepsake tier.

Each guest will also find your celebration at Rough Creek Lodge an affair to remember. We will shower your guests with our warm Texas hospitality, and arrange for their every need. Day hunts for groups, pampering spa treatments, and evening cordials by an outdoor fire are just to name a few of the activities we can plan for your friends and family.

Site Fee Package Includes:

• Rough Creek Rental for the Location of the Wedding
• Consultation with the On-Site Certified Wedding Consultant
• Consultation with Brenda Weaver, CWC consists of site visits, telephone calls, conversations and/or emails directly associated with the wedding celebration, rooming information, Timeline, Sequence of Service, At the Alter Line Up, Wedding Tasting (if applicable), Banquet Event Orders, Diagrams and Menu Preparation and meetings or discussions with various vendors to detail their association with the event.

• Under 100 person wedding ~ *Ten Hours Wedding Consultation
• Over 100 person wedding ~ *Twenty-five Hours Wedding Consultation
• (Complimentary two hours will be added to the consultation time if Wedding Tasting is applicable – Exclusive Wedding Events)

*Should the total number of consultation hours exceed the specified amount included in the Site Fee Package; the cost will be based on an hourly rate of $75. plus tax per hour.

• On-Site event coordination and direction regarding details and logistics on the
day of the event with our Certified Wedding Consultant.
• Coordinating the wedding timeline as discussed by prompting and organizing the seating of families, processional, recessional, cueing of musicians, horsd’oeurves, cocktails, dining, first dance, announcements, champagne toasting,
cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, escape, etc.
• Guidance and direction through the many facets of traditional wedding
etiquette practices to today’s current trends.
• Providing invaluable support and information when matching the vendor with
your specific wedding needs and establishing a level of expectation.
• Storage, movement and placement of furniture (including rentals)
• Managing the various vendors. (i.e. florist, ceremony music, musicians for
reception, photographers, videographers, etc)
• Customizing billing throughout the event to enable budget planning.
• Taking individual guestroom reservations, credit card information and
coordinating any resort activities requested.
• Coordination of babysitting or kids’ parties if applicable.
